Payment Methods

All payments are payable to 'PBC Trading'. We use Roman Cart secure shopping cart, which displays the PBC Trading logo. For payments using Bank Transfers (BACs etc.) please contact us for our bank details.
Material Metrics is a trading name of PBC Trading.

CASH
|
Cash may be sent at your own risk using registered post. Pounds sterling (£) or US dollars ($) or Euros (€) accepted. Cash on collection may also be possible. Please email us before sending cash.

CHEQUE
|
Standard UK cheques drawn on a UK bank payable in pounds sterling (£) only.

BACs TRANSFER
|
We accept direct bank transfers in UK Pounds Sterling (£) only. Please contact us for our bank details.

PAYPAL
|
We accept Paypal payments in Pounds sterling (£) or US dollars ($) or Euros (€) only. Please contact us if you want to use dollars or Euros.

BANK DRAFT / MONEY ORDER
|
We accept Bank Drafts (Money Orders) payable in UK Pounds Sterling (£) only. Please contact us before arranging a draft as there may be additional fees involved.

CREDIT & DEBIT CARDS can only be accepted using Paypal, or in person (face to face) using iZettle.

Post & Packing
Postage is based on weight. Where possible we will use Small Packet Airmail for overseas packages but these have a weight limit of 2 Kg. Above this we need to use couriers. We use a mixture of new and clean re-used packaging to minimise the impact on the environment.
You will be able to choose your postage method and see the actual cost during checkout (before needing to commit to buy). For large orders, if you would prefer to make other postal arrangements, or wish to discuss the possibility of collecting your purchases in person, then please contact us with your requirements.
You are responsible for any import duties and taxes imposed in your country upon receiving the goods, if any such taxes or duties apply.
Postal Insurance
If postal insurance is required above basic cover, then please contact us for a quote.
Privacy Policy
We will not share your contact information, or any other details, with anyone else, with the sole exception being if a fraud is suspected to have taken place.
We may send out very occasional emails about updates to our stock etc. but you can opt out of these easily if you so wish.
Returns Policy
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, therefore we offer a full refund guarantee. Items which are returned for any reason other than being incorrect, or not as described, are subject to the following conditions:
- All returns must be returned in original condition. Items that are altered, soiled or damaged will void refund.
- Returned items must be packed properly (in the original packaging if possible) for secure return posting. Items that are damaged during return transit due to inadequate packing will void refund. Insured post is recommended.
- We will refund cost of purchase only - postage costs will not be refunded.
- All returns must be notified within 14 days of delivery or refund will be voided.
- Please contact us before returning any item.
In the event of goods being incorrectly described or the wrong goods being sent, we will refund your postage costs as well as the cost of goods, once items have been returned and received. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please note this when signing for the item with the courier and please take a photo of the packaging if possible, then contact us.
Sale of Goods:
Items will be posted once payment has been received in full. We will wait for cheques to clear before posting goods. Title of ownership will remain with us until all items are paid for in full including all associated postal costs.
Credit Accounts:
We do NOT offer credit accounts of any kind; no exceptions. All orders and purchases must be paid for pro-forma (i.e. in advance). This applies to all customers including private, educational, and business customers.
